The presence of Negative Psycho-social Factors in the teachers can lead to the presence of diverse psychological upheavals as the case of the Burnout.

This study made with 144 college teachers had like objective to determine the specific prevalence of Burnout and to establish which of the Negative Psycho-social Factors (NPF) of the work are those that are associated with it. The 18,3{20a60b73a1cda07ce2433237b967754d6e53d5d16fc2e14f7e109f91f7e5e586} of the subjects turned out to be

exposed to the presence of Negative Psychosocial Factors and 52,7{20a60b73a1cda07ce2433237b967754d6e53d5d16fc2e14f7e109f91f7e5e586} is qualified with Burnout Syndrome, being the highest rates in the women(64.2{20a60b73a1cda07ce2433237b967754d6e53d5d16fc2e14f7e109f91f7e5e586}) and singles with 61.7{20a60b73a1cda07ce2433237b967754d6e53d5d16fc2e14f7e109f91f7e5e586}.

The own NPF of the Task are qualified like Risk Factor for the “Emotional Exhaustion” and the “Depersonalization”; where as the FPN of the Work System are only for the “Emotional Exhaustion”. The NPF in a global way appear like Risk Factor for the “Emotional Exhaustion”, the “Depersonalization” and for the presence or not of the Burnout Syndrome.
